2008 L322 Brake Controller Install
Good Evening:
I've just got my L322 2008 TDV8 back and working after Intake Manifold Replacement.
Looking at fitting a Brake Controller and had some wishful thinking regarding some connectors etc with the D3/D4 and other L322 overseas possessing a connector above the Brake Pedal for a Ford Based Brake Controller to plug in.
So I have the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller and the 3035-P but after pulling apart under Steering Wheel/Brake Pedal area I'm not seeing a likely connection area.
Has anyone fitted these previously... Do I need to complete a Full Wiring Loom instead?

I'm a bit surprised you didn't get an answer - hope you got it sorted by now but for completeness....
There is no factory wiring harness to hook into unfortunately. The brake light switch on the pedal is hall effect so you can't pick it up there - you need to pickup the brake light signal at either the Light Control Module (driver's footwell, throttle pedal side for us RHD) or at the rear coming out of the Trailer Light module. If you get a signal at the front, I recommend tapping the brake light signal coming out of the Light Control module that feeds the trailer lights as apposed to the line feeding the car's brake lights.

I ended up going the Electric Brake Controller for the Trailer instead.
Was easier and simpler than messing around with Land Rover wiring etc..
Ended up being a wise decision now the Range Rover TDV8 Appears to have blown up and is cactus..
