    TDV8 Engine Issues etc

    Guys:
    Have a 2008 TDV8 3.6 L322 Vogue 300,000km or thereabouts.
Was driving up from Whittlesea towards Kinglake... went around an intersection and gave the car some acceleration and just felt something "let go".
No Bang or anything... just that feeling of something letting go and going into a Limp Home sort of situation.

Pulled over to the Side of the Road and attempted to start the Car.. Ran for about 1-2 seconds and then died.
Subsequent attempts run for even less time..

Is this usually a sign of Turbo's going/blockages etc?

I have the car down with my Local Mechanic now.. but they are a bit wary of the Rangie since I made them to the Drivers Side Inlet Manifold etc.

What is the fuel pump setup on the 3.6 ?, my first thought would be fuel pump belt if it was a TDV6 which the 3.6 is a modular design of.

The Mechanics have checked Fuel Pressure with diagnostic tool and is apparently ok/as expected.

Can't help with the issue, but i would get it to a good LR Indie,as they work on these vehicles all day.

Just a suggestion, good luck with it.

I've pretty much given up.. My research seems to be consistent with Turbo Failure and Oil Leaking/Blocking Exhaust etc.
It may not be that.. but it's just not worth the $$$ and time these days on these cars in my opinion.
