    How to remove battery tray?

I've removed the 4 bolts but the outer front post or bolt is preventing the tray from being lifted at the front, although the rear can be lifted which appears to swivel the front downwards. Any suggestions?

I need to remove the tray to repair the battery monitor wiring that has been chewed off.

I've had it out but didn't have any problems. I can't remember how.

    Thanks Ron for responding.

The stubborn stud is stubborn because it has a nut holding a bracket for the FFH which can only be undone via the wheel arch after removing the liner. I'll have to put up with the charging system fault until I have more time to again remove the battery and then the wheel and liner once I can find it under the mud.
I managed to scrape the insulation from a wire in a bundle at the front of the tray but separating the wires revealed only 1 wire damaged so re-taped the bundle.

There is another bolt/clip under the tray, you get access by removal of the wheel splash cover, I believe.

Have had my battery tray out a few times.
All I had to do was undo the tray bolts , then lift it out.
It might be slightly different on the later models tho.

Yes, MY10+ tray has a stud for the FFH bracket whereas earlier models had a bolt from the top and a nut underneath that appears to be accessible from the top. I now plan to drill out the top of the stud rather than go in from underneath and fit a suitable bracket for the FFH so that the tray can be easily removed from the top.

Aha! I knew it as FBH.

Are they fuelled by petrol in a petrol vehicle and diesel in a diesel vehicle?
