Major part of the heart and soul of AULRO.comIn the right hand rear quarter under the electrics panel is the area in which I've had my 2 AGM batteries installed.
I now want to replace them with my 100Ah lithium.
Unfortunately, the lithium is a fraction too wide and fouls this bracket with the 2 captive nuts (visible just below the wiring loom - photo from Drivesafe's L322 DT90 install page).

Tim used it for a battery hold-down bracket in his tutorial but I need to remove it.
Does anyone know what its purpose is? In other words, it is OK to remove it?
