Comes out of hibernation every few months for a run
Off road, it is just amazing!!
We've just had a load of 'Ride & Drive' days, with the new car and it was just going everywhere... In standard form and on standard tyres.
Putting that into context, the D4 support cars were on MT/Rs and they were struggling.

Is there any difficulty getting off-road tyres for those large wheels?
Those HTs wouldn't last long on rocky trails and deserts in Oz, where 19 inch ATs are hard to find (although I have seen the General Grabber AT and Pirelli Scorpion AT), so its an issue LR shouldn't overlook if it wants to lift sales here.
Don't flatter yourself... There are hard, rocky trails all over the World!
From my own observations, most of the tyre failures I saw in Oz were due to airing down, which could have been avoided if running at a normal pressure. I agree that there are advantages to airing down but there are significant risks to the sidewalls of the tyres.
