Removal Brand new Range Rover Seats

I went today to have a peek at my brand new Autobiography RR Sport redelivery - BUT it arrived with one tone instead of two tone seat (Cream not Ebony/Ivory)

A confusion between the dealer and myself none is at fault and they have been excellent

The dealer may have found a Autobiography on order in their network and proposes to Swap the seats and door panels

I am very apprehensive as the seats are 18way heated/ cooling seats.

Any views on this PLEASE - can anyone asure me this won't be problem. If it was a Landy Defender no problem but this needs a brain surgeon... surely ???

I wouldn't stress too much much about it. Seat removal/installation is still pretty straight forward. Biggest issue is they are bloody heavy, so my biggest concern would be damage to the seats or interior, not the operation of them after being changed. Electrically, they are just on 2 connectors so no issue with the wiring.

Look carefully to make sure they haven't damaged anything but apart from that all good. Remember in the factory they install them with a counter weighted lifting aid, not by manual means.

Glad it's them lifting them in and out and not me.

Complete trim swaps are surprisingly common at dealerships. Seats are a no brainer as they're often removed for access anyway.

    Thumbs up

Should not be an issue we take seats and int trim off all the time to get to different modules, wires and other parts even if some damage occurs the dealer will fix it and wear the charges that's what is good about JLR dealers.
