My 2015.5 Vogue TDV6, has a much smaller battery where Smithy shows his 70ah. I am pretty sure my smaller unit is for the stop/start. (you do get used to it and in situations where I don,t want any hesitation I disable it.)
I gave up waiting for anyone to come up with a kit and made my own a year ago. The photos in post one were very helpful, making the rack was a bit fiddly but otherwise fairly straightforward. So far working well. I also connected the existing auxiliary outlet to this battery for permanent power, easily done as mine is on the left side. I always use a separate 2 pin socket for my frig now, after nearly setting fire to a boat years ago relying on a lighter outlet to power a phone charger !
    Cheers

I've installed this kit in the rear of my l494, with the Redarc BCDC 1240 charger and a lithium battery (pricey but a third of the weight). I also ordered the kit with a Redarc gauge to monitor both the aux battery and the car battery voltage, plus installed a bunch of usb charge ports from Jarcar and a cigarette socked, a merit socket, and replaced the standard socket with an engel socket for my fridge.

Here is a quick photo I have of the install before I had the battery in place, so the gauge is red showing no voltage on the second battery.

It’s worth noting that Autospark now have a lot of photos of the installation of a dual battery system to L405 and L494 on their Facebook page.

I called into Autospark when I was in Perth before Christmas and was told they have a new battery bracket coming which will hold batteries larger than 300mm long.
