Having driven my first 4th generation SDV8 just yesterday, I am totally smitten. Great choice!!!!

Excellent - I think you have hit the sweet spot.... if I was buying, that is what I would go for.

Edit - I just looked at the ad on car sales, and me being a sticky beak, could not resist putting your VIN into Topix... looks like you are up for the 2 year service already..... maybe the dealer can throw that in for free?

Nice. That will be a big step up from a RRS. Not saying a RRS is crap but a L405 sounds pretty good, the 21st century king of 4WD.

I am looking at buying a L405 in 2027 (not kidding - that’s the plan). Hopefully the L322 lasts (and keeps putting a smile on my face) until then. I really like my MY08 tdv8 and will miss checking the dipstick for carbon contamination.

I think Greg is right, the MY16 seems to be a sweet spot.

The MY13 & MY19 also have there pluses and minuses.
    L322 tdv8 poverty pack - wow

Thanks , truth is I was looking for a 2016 SDV8 Sport and stumbled onto this car and not too big a price diff.... so hell why not grab it!
Re service record that’s interesting, are you sure you checked the right VIN as the osh.landrover.com shows 1,2 & 3 yr services completed by my local Gold Coast LR Dealer

Yep retains large fuel tank and gets updated electronics. I think the tdv8 was also updated.

Down side it gets Adblue and looses the small storage space in the door.

I though the smaller diesel tank in MY17 was to make room for the Adblue tank.
