I’ve previously used the pirelli AT on a Sport & was happy with them, forgive my ignorance but what is the meaning of LI113 & TG127 Graeme

LI is load index where the higher the number, the higher load it can carry.

The Pirelli AT+ is nothing like the original ATR other then being quiet. Pirelli addressed the short-comings of the ATR including a pattern with better gravel performance.

    TG - Terra Grappler short-hand.

    TPMS

Anyone here with in-depth knowledge of TPMS for RR ? I have kept my original wheels and tyres and fitted up a new set with 275/55/20's. When I priced new senders at the dealer the price was prohibitive, over 1k ! I purchased a "used" set from UK about $150 from memory. Fitted the tyres and waited for senders to connect - never happened. After market service guy here spent over half an hour with computer - no luck, and couldn't help. LR dealer here "thought" that I needed the numbers off the sender to enter in the computer - too late, tyres are fitted. So I have decided to wait until new tyres are due before trying again.
What I do know for certain is that operating without senders fitted is not a problem, occasionally when starting a message comes up TPMS not working, then disappears, no bells.
I would appreciate any advice available on the subject, maybe what I bought from UK was rubbish, (they were stamped LR parts).
    Cheers, Peter

So Ive fitted the Pirelli AT+ to the 20" 494 wheels on my L405. They are certainly quiet, I can hardly pick the difference from the standard Continentals on the 21" wheel.

My spare is still the original 21"with 275/45/R21 which is much smaller overall diameter than the 275/55/R20 Pirelli AT+.
QUESTION : Is the 21" ok to use as a Spare or would that cause damage to the Diff / Transmission etc.

I did a short test run up to 100 kph with a 30" 2nd spare tyre on the front while the others were 275/55R20 and was surprised that no faults occurred as I was expecting at least a steering angle fault. I vowed that it would only get used in an emergency and only for a short distance while waiting for a 275/55R20 puncture to be repaired. A 31" would only be half as bad but over time could still damage 2 diffs.

Guys - is ET53 ok or do they need to be 47? I see a set of 4 on Gumtree but 53.

ET53 suggests D4 or L320 RRS. The extra inwards offset will reduce the clearance on suspension components especially if the rims are from an RRS which usually have wider rims (9"?) than a D4 and your vehicle (8.5"?).

    Graeme is that 30” & 31” correct or a typo & should be 20” & 21”... I wasn’t aware of a 31” wheel.
