I expect that they may be different although Graeme has confirmed that the brake switch is the same. I meant that you could need the same sort of stuff not that the parts are compatible between the two models.
Also check that the GAP IID works with your car. It is not compatible with the TDV6 version of the L405 and they had to modify the software/firmware for it to work with my TDV6. However, it still thinks the car has a viscous fan whereas the L405 has electric fans, so they appear to have slotted in the parameters for the D4 V6, and not made it fully compatible with the RRV TDV6. My GAP IID wouldn't even recognise my friends latest model Sport SDV6, even though I had the patch for the TDV6 in the L405. If you look at their web site they appear to think that all Range Rovers are V8's. When I rang them to sort out mine, they were very surprised that I had a V6 diesel.
