    Anyone weighed their L405?

My 2015.5 model TDV6 should weigh 2160kg according to the specs in the handbook. I recently weighed it to understand the effect of the ball load of a new caravan. The rear axle weighed 1.34kg and front 1.30kg, total of 2.64kg ! The only extra weight I can think of is fuel 45Kg, (it was half full), auxiliary battery say 20kg, and perhaps towbar 20 Kg, (although bar receiver came fitted to car as standard).
Where does the extra 400kg come from or should I find another scale.

The tare weight from the manufacturer is usually a"dry" weight of the vehicle components without any liquids/fluids.
No accessories or options either usually.

I had same shock when I took my SDV8 over the scales at the dump - 2800 with me and full tank in it; I’ve got a full size extra battery, big off-road tyres and a lot of options on the car (and a few accessories like UHF, LLAMS etc) but it still surprises me difference between handbook and reality!! Cheers

LR always quoted with fuel and fluids

However, doesnt account for options, accessories etc as stated (so for example a HSE weighs more than a base spec)
