Graeme, will you do a LLAMS kit for the new D5 ?

I expect the L494/L405 kit to fit but most likely will need to pick-up power using a piggyback fuse from the nearby fuse panel. The L494/L405 kits pick-up power from the CVD supply that's in one of the connectors that I intercept but as the D5 doesn't appear to have CVDs I don't expect it to have a wire to that connector cavity. Now that the wiring diagrams are available on Topix I will shortly confirm my expectations that the same physical suspension module that the L494 without CVDs uses is used in the Disco and confirm the expected omitted CVD power supply wire. The programming has already been tweaked to provide an alternate higher set of raised heights with the Disco in mind.

LR Think a Snorkel is Not Required

According to this vid LR think a snorkel will not be required.

I can see Safari bypassing the bonnet plenum system and coming in through the mudguard from the outside into the air intake in there and blocking the inner guard intake off.

Safari will sell one even if it doesn't need one. So it's a cut through the guard job, just like the Disco 1 and 2.

Wiring diagrams and connector details from Topix confirm that the suspension module wiring and connectors are identical to the L494 and L405. As expected the Disco will require a separate power feed due to the lack of a CVD power supply in one of the intercepted connectors and not wanting to intercept a 3rd connector just to get access to the suspension module's 12V supply. As the Disco's suspension module is located on the driver's A pillar the same as the D3/D4/L320 RRS, a wire with a piggy-back fuse-holder long enough to reach across to the passenger fuse panel behind the passenger glove box will be required. The L494/L405 kit will become the L494/L405/L462 kit but the L494 and L405 will not use the extra wire that will plug into the Llams loom as an alternate 12V supply.
