    The same was said about the D3 and D4 when they came out, especially the D4's that often had 20's fitted and there are plenty of those being used off road. Given time you will see D5's all kitted out bashing their way around plenty of demanding tracks and doing it easy.

    Discovery 5 SVX V8

    Has anyone heard realible info as to when the SVX D5 is arriving in OZ and how much?

    Lots of goodies in the SVX

    According to press releases in 2017 the build was to start in 2018. But nobody can order one yet. The press suggested UK price would be around 100,000 GBP, if that is any indication you could double it for AUD.

    Yeah dont think they will be cheap with all the extras and hand built by SVO.

    But the Disco 5 does go Ok on the track - I assume it is not a SVR

    Thats what they said about the d3 Discovery SVX

    The SVX is growing on me

    Would get the rear door number plate centering kit though or maybe a rear wheel carrier would fix the look.

    The new nissans look worse imo but come up pretty good after getting all barred up.

    Would be interesting to see an svx all barred up.

    Me too, the motor gearbox combination is sensational and the extra room and off road capability over the RRS would be welcome.

    I don't think it looks too bad at all, much better than the L320 RRS (pokes Gary with a stick).
