Nice videos! You can clearly see in the Deefers how the line you take through the obstacle is key to getting through.
I'm interested in the UHF antenna bracket, did you make this yourself?

The Rims are Hussla Brand Spitfire 2018 Model

The Tyres are BF Goodrich KO2's. 275/55 R20.

Really happy with the tyres have only been 4x4 once and they performed well. They are as quiet as you can get on the open road too. Yes a bit of a whirr but not enough to be irritable.

    And yes thats Loire Blue...

    Hi all,

This is Alfred, my MY18 SD4 HSE Lux in Silicon Silver:

    DSC_0213.jpgDSC_0207.jpgDSC_0206.jpgDSC_0213.jpgDSC_0222.jpg

    Optioned with:

    • Activity Key
    • Adaptive Headlamps
    • Capability Plus Pack (Off-Road Cruise Control, Rear E-Diff, Low Range, Terrain Response 2)
    • Drive Pack (Rear Cross Traffic Warning, Driver Attention Detection, Blind Spot Monitor)
    • Exterior Dynamic Design Pack
    • Massaging Front Seats
    • Versatile Climate Pack (Heated Steering Wheel, Heated/Ventilated Front Seats, Heated Rear Seats)
    • Wade Sensing Monitor
    • 360 Degree Parking Aid with Visual Display
    • Automated Park Assist
    • Heated Front Windscreen
    • TPMS
    • Anti Glare Power Door Mirrors
    • Contrast Black Roof
    • Fixed Panoramic Sunroof
    • Silver Roof Rails
    • 12V 2nd Row Charging Points

I recently took it on a trip through Flinders Ranges, up the Oodnadatta Track, up to Alice Springs, and across to Uluru, I'll do I more comprehensive write up of that trip later but here's a few photos:

    DSC_0395.jpgDSC_0405.jpgDSC_0435.jpgDSC_0462.jpgDSC_0505.jpgDSC_0560.jpgDSC_0574.jpgDSC_0732.jpgDSC_0744.jpgDSC_0749.jpg

Super impressed with how capable it is off road, coming from an old 110 it's no less capable on this stuff and its infinitely more comfortable.

There will be many more trips to come, I'll do a more in depth write up shortly in the 'Members Rides' section, including modifications and accessories. So keep an eye for it there.

    Thanks, Tom

    Tom,

That's a good ad for the D5 and great pics!

    How'd the SD4 go?

    What tyres are you running?

    Cheers,

    Mark

    Hey Mark,

The SD4 was great. Not once was I left wanting for more power and super efficient on fuel.

Tyres are the 255/55/R20 Goodyear Eagle F1 A/Ts that came with it when it was delivered. Would NOT recommend, 1 tyre completely fell to bits and a 2nd had a slow leak. Will be looking for replacements before the next big trip.
