I think you are trying to say that the D5 is not good value compared with a ute, which may be correct. However, if you want a large 4x4 wagon then the good value of a ute is irrelevant.

I thought an Amarok might be a sensible, good value alternative to a Defender. I tried it. I was wrong. IMO it just wasn't as good, in so many ways. I sold the Amarok and bought a Defender.
I have a rok, as good and reliable a car that it is, its sooooo boring. Its just a car. I would love a defender over it, but cabin ergonomics are just all wrong for myself and my family.Quote:

Performance wise, the SD4 is quicker than the SDV6 in the D4.
