    Hi GAM & all,

I have had my TD6 SE for 3 days now & have seen this behaviour a number of times too now.
I think it's because of selecting PARK when stopped that it lowers the selector(I don't think that part happens by itself exactly). It could however be because I have applied the eBrake(Park Brake).
My seat belt is definitely still on.
This would probably also only happen if the Stop/Start is still enabled as well - as it is with me.
I do notice the radio continues until I open my door.

I haven’t had this happen in my D5, but it happened in a Discovery Sport that the dealer lent me. I pulled up at the dealer when returning it, and after I stopped it put itself into park, the transmission knob receded, and the engine turned off. I hadn’t done anything other than brake gently to a complete stop. The dealer thought I was stupid when I mentioned it.
Actually, being female, the dealers often don’t pay any attention to any complaints I have about the car. I’ve learned to take photos of error messages, otherwise I’m just dismissed off hand. I don’t know anything about mechanics and electronics, but I’m fairly observant.

    Thumbs up

Sounds ruddy inconvenient to me. Doing a recovery or hitching up the camper I get out and the car turns itself off Hope you can turn that off somehow?

yes, you can disable it, there's a button. Press it once per trip to disable auto stop/start for that trip.
    Cheers,

Thanks the gods for something I can switch off. Note to self as part of the handover if we do buy one. I need to get hold of one so I can do some measuring up for a slide out storage tray the same as we had made for the D4. I am hoping that can be done as we would order a 5 seater

This definitely happens to my D5 but only at Home and work when the auto s/s and "my commute" is engaged.
