I've not experienced that. Someone isn't messing with you using the remote app?

OK, I thought I was going mad. A number of times when I have parked my car in my driveway is has appeared to turn itself off and put itself in park. I started to think that maybe I pressed the Start/Stop button by habit and just didn't realise I did it.
But today I can confirm 100% that when I park in the same spot in my driveway the car will turn off and put itself in park.
I have been googling this and can't find anyone talking about it. There was a reference to removing your seatbelt being a trigger but I can confirm that I am not removing my seatbelt. I have checked the manual and can't find any reference to this.
Specifically today I pulled in to my driveway and was ready for it. When I first pulled in it didn't do it. I nudged the car forward about 30cm and BAM engine turned off, gear shifter switched to "P" and the control knob descended.
Pretty smart if it is detecting my regular parking space and predicting this for me.
Anyone else having this behaviour and know any more about this feature?

Removing the seatbelt is a trigger for lowering the car when using auto-access mode. It drops 20mm or so after one of the seatbelts is undone, then when a door opens it drops a further 30mm.

Do you use auto stop/start? And use the navigation system to get home?

Yes. Mine does it all the time - not just in my driveway! I thought it was a standard feature.

I wonder if this is related to the "MyCommute" navigation feature. Same trip, start and end.

The only thing I can find is the "Driver Exit" feature which works when you use stop/start. I always turn mine off. From the manual:

Could this be triggered?

Heck, my phone even unlocks my front door. And I don't have to pay over $100K for that. Get used to it, guys, GPS will do everything. Stil, great feature.

Ron..... yes I usually drive with auto start/stop on but have not yet tested if this makes a difference.
I am not using navigation.
In fact, I don’t even have home set to my address in my profile. I do this for security reasons so home just points to my suburb with no street information.
