    RRS/D5 AEB Recall

Jaguar Land Rover Australia — Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Discovery | Product Safety Australia

Jaguar Land Rover Australia — Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Discovery
    PRA No. 2018/17092
    Date published 19 Oct 2018
    Campaign number N227
    Product description
Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Discovery MY2018

    Identifying features
VIN (Vehicle identification number) - see website

    What are the defects?
In certain 2018 model year Land Rover Range Rover Sport and Discovery vehicles, the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB ) feature may not be available when required. A warning message will not be displayed on the instrument cluster to inform the driver that AEB is unavailable.

    What are the hazards?
AEB would normally activate to avoid or reduce the severity of a collision. If the system does not activate as designed, there could be an increased risk of an accident and injury.
