    Snow Chains

    Hi All,

New to forum, wondering if anyone can recommend snow chains for 255/55/20 for a D5 that would not scratch the rims and easy to put on? Thank you in advance.

I have a set of Konig chains, and although the chain wraps around the tyre and partly over the rim, has not got close to the rim to scratch. I think mine are Konig T2 Magic and once fitted they self tighten, so unlike ladder chains of old you do not have loose bits of chain flailing about the rotating wheel. I have used this on mud/clay, but not yet needed in snow.
