Simply brilliant, only one word required.
I visited the 4wd show at Eastern Creek today and went for a test drive on their 4wd test track and when offered to drive a D5 with less then 15,000kms could not refuse the offer. Amazing drive having driven D3 and D4's, very quiet, managed everything in its path with ease and with road tyres.
Last week i had requested via email to test drive a D5 and got a auto reply from LR saying someone will be in touch shortly to arrange, but after one week nothing. Was a bit disappointed thinking don't LR want to sell D5's. So this surpassed any road drive I would have done.
Whilst driving the huge wash outs was just surprised at how little the body rolled from side to side as the vehicle negotiated ruts either side. Technology with cameras, head up display, hdc amazing pity cost would be close to $100k. Ironically my rep in the car with me had a nissan as his daily driver telling me how to use all the gadgets on the D5. cheers. sorry no pics.
