It has AM???
That's so 60's, NT...
How is your AM reception on the radio? Mine has a very irritating whistling noise most of the time, but especially when near anything large and metal like a bridge.

Dunno if I'm correct, but it seems to me that there is now so much data/info sent up and down 240V AC mains by the providers and other users that receiving a "good AM signal" has become problematic in some urban areas.
Lots of times even on a radio isolated from 240V (eg. car radio) there is the AC hum from the overhead at least and then other pops and squeaks - battery powered electric fencing seems to be an offender as well.
No doubt some knowledgeable person can elucidate us.
Unfortunately, the only station I choose to listen to only broadcasts on AM... I had DAB in the Jeep and that was worse - dropping out every time I went under an overpass or between tall buildings.
