For 1, I didn't try it,
for 2 yes I gave to connect from the head unit of the car and it try to connect but after a while it gave connection failed and it will not connect if I close the phone and restart, close the bt from the phone and open. the only way to connect is to close the engine, open the door in order to close the power of the media center and wait around 5 minutes and start the engine or the media and is connecting this way.
For 3. It doesn't seems to me that is moving slower.

tomorrow I will go to service to put the new software 20, I have 19C now and I will see what will solve from my problems. I have these issues with the BT with the Iphone 7 and now with Iphone 11. I do not think that is a problem with the BT of the phones is probably the LR software with the compatibility with apple.

You should try to do BOTH WAYS with (1). We often found that letting iPhone search the headunit BT then let it try to reach out first will get success. (2) It seems you need to do CACHE CLEAN or NETWORK SETTINGS RESET on both units (phone, and head unit). Leave car off for at least 5 minutes to let it drain out the temporary internal memory, then do fresh connection again. Either updating software from headunit and iPhone should fix the issue, but I think you need to check your iPhone settings and have some "tips " to use BT, Wifi, and Network settings.

I was yesterday and make the update of the software from 19C to 20B.

It is strange what they said to me that even that SOTA was on here in Romania we cannot make by our self the updates, because the factory is not opening the VIN's, it is true? or they want to control this and maybe to charge after the warranty period expired?

Till now I didn't had any problem with the Bluetooth connection yet, but it is too early to be happy.
The USB problems it is resets at each start and is playing aleatory from a melody and is not passing from a folder to the next one after is finishing the melodies from a folder. It starts all over again from the same folder.

I can survive with this, for me the phone was a big problem.

I use an iPhone and when playing tracks of an album it will repeat that album when all songs have played - it does that both on USB or Bluetooth. If I want it to play everything in the library I select "songs" then play shuffled.

Thank you Ron, I will try this too. But it is not normal on my Disco 4 the same USB works without any problem.

But with Disco 5 is a big problem, in my opinion is all about software. It has many problems with it starting with the USB, Bluetooth, camera system is bad, when I start making maneuvers is contra time always if I'm going back the front camera is on and when I going in front the back camera is on. The 360 sensors when is on when is off.

Yesterday again the Bluetooth is not connecting to the phone, again after the service made the software update of the info to the version 20B and worked well for 2 full days.

SO it is another problem at my car not from software.

I have to go on my holiday and when I will come back I have to fight with the importer to see what is going on to my car before I return it.

Hi, I just took the car from service, once again with the problem of connecting by Bluetooth to my iPhone 11 with ios 13.7. And they discover an internal note made by Factory that they know that is a problem related with the Bluetooth encryption starting with ios 13 and they are working on that and as soon that will solve the problem will make un update. Is it true? Does have anyone problems with the Bluetooth with iPhone with ios 13 and above? Meaning that the infotainment is not pairing with the phone via Bluetooth from time to time and the only solution is to close the car, open the door and wait for about 5 minutes off? Or they invent all these to get read of me from the shop? Thank you in advance

I'm on iOS 13.7 and have no issues with the phone (iPhone XS) connecting to the car using Bluetooth. The car has software 20B.
