I have a dual axle van but not with LSC suspension. You could rule out an issue with the car by hooking it up to yours?
Ron
Hi all, mate has a D5 SD-V6, has just bought a new to him (but only 2 years old and according to the seller done very little work) caravan with simplicity load sharing coil suspension (LSC in the brochures). Now in the process of checking all the obvious things, van wheel bearings, suspension, tow hitch, ball weight and so on to eliminate them from the possible causes of a cyclic vibration that the van inputs into the car after the van rolls over a road imperfection, man hole cover, repaired trench, pot hole those sorts of things. The amplitude of the vibration increases as speed increases as does the occurrence but the frequency of the vibration seems to remain unchanged regardless of speed.
So, the question is - has any one else out there got a van with simplicity LSC suspension and towing it with a D5 or anything else for that matter. Would like to hear from you about your experience. I know there are other versions of simplicity dual axle caravan suspension out there but this is the coil spring iteration. The van dealer blames the car, predictably enough I guess, so I am just trying to broaden my outlook tapping into the collective wisdom.
And so it goes...............thanks
Peter

Yeah thanks Ron, that will probably happen as well soon enough. The vendor has offered to put it behind his BT 50 with truely epic WDH to "prove" it's not the van, I have a D4 so while it's the same basic suspension the overall architecture is different, so I just wanted to hear from a D5 owner if there's one out there with a simplicity LSC equipped van. I realise that it's a long long shot, but you never know until you ask.
