Adaptor Plate for additional tow plugs 2xAnderson, 1xVideo

I've searched for days but can't find any standard adaptor plate for D5 to fit the additional sockets required for large caravans, typically 1 x Grey Anderson for trailer DC-DC charge, 1 x Red Anderson for ESC, 1 x Video feed.

There have been some good examples her eon AULRO of tucking these in around the recess and rear bumper, but wouldn't it great if a bracket existed off for existing mount for the 12pin?

    Cheers,
    Peter

Just get an auto sparkie to do it. Osborne Autospark here in the west do a good one but they are not cheap and won't supply it to you unless they do the work. There is not really enough room for all of the stuff you want though. I have the 12 pin plug and one grey anderson plug, which pretty much fills up the space available. My caravan camera plug has been put in a different location due to the lack of room, especially to get fingers in there to connect it up. You could get a Dexter ESC to remove the red plug. It doesn't need additional plugs to connect to the car like the Alko version. I have seen one installation on here that has a red and grey anderson plug in that space, though.

I made up a bracket for mine that fits two andersons, but it’s very tight in there. I could not see how it would be possible to do the camera socket as well. Not with my fat fingers Adaptor Plate for additional tow plugs 2xAnderson, 1xVideo

Hi Peter, we have a simple way to fix this issue with the 2 x Anderson Plugs.

I can supply a Star Plug ( a 3 way Anderson plug ) that connects both caravan plugs to a single Anderson plug on the rear of any tow vehicle.

NOTE, there are others on the market but they are made by splitting into two 8B&S cables ( 7.9mm2 ), which does not have the correct current carrying capacity and light cable makes the circuit unsafe.

Our Star Plug is 15.8mm2 loop setup, so the current capacity is correct and the circuit is safe.

You can have either a 3 x Grey Anderson Star Plug or 2 x Grey Anderson + 1 x Red Anderson Star Plug.

The 3 x Grey Anderson Star Plug is the best to use as it allows a portable Solar Panel Regulator to be plugged in when the Brake system is not being used while camping.

Sorry, I can’y help you with the video connection.
