    18 inch rims

I noticed what I assume is an error in the Specifications (on LRA Website) for MY15 RRS, re Brakes. It indicates the brakes on the based 190Kw TDV6 are 350mm front and back, and the SDV6 are 380/365. I think this is correct.

Then the SDV8 are listed as 350/350mm too. Which seems odd. I checked the UK site and they list the SDV8 as 380/365mm so I suspect the Australian car must have similar size stoppers, as you woudl expect anyway given its the premium model. And the bigger brother RRV SDV8 has the bigger brakes too.

So, as GOE's 18 inch rims don't fit over 380/365mm stoppers...it looks like in the RR range of vehicles you are now limited to two vehicles if you want to fit 18 inch rims:

RRS TDV6 (190kw) - no low range option, no e-diff option on its own, only a spart of the Dynamic pack on SDv6.
RR Vogue HSE (190kw) - no e-diff option on base model HSE, but can ft the 18's.

Happy to hear other opinions, but I think that is correct.
    cheers

I have yet to see confirmation that the GOE wheels will fit on either vehicle. Hopefully GOE will test some time soon and confirm clearance and offset is OK. I would love to get a 405 at some time in the future and would be happy with the TDV6 subject to being able to fit the 18's.

Any news yet if the GOE 18 rims will fit the current RRS TDV6?

Just a heads up to let you know we haven't forgotten the L494/405 owners!

The Compomotive factory is trying a new FlowForm technique to increase internal space. We should have a prototype 18" rim for testing late January. It will have a higher load rating than the current PD1881 and an offset of +33.

    Cheers,

Hi folks. I can confirm that the current compomotives from GOE will not fit a standard TDV6 2014 RRS. Not on the rear at least. I didn't try the front. So here is waiting Gordon. Gordon do you think that the standard looking silver might be available?
