Santorini Black colour with a lot of fruit.
Lets just say there were a few compromises when we were putting this car together. I liked the Style 514 in grey gloss finish rim 22'' and the wife didn't. We ended up with 504 in 22'' which I'm happy with now as I think It may have been a be aggressive looking a black rangie with dark rims, tint and dark interior if you know what I mean.
    cheers
Ask the dealer which shipping company is being used but from past experience JLR usually use Wallenius Wilhelmsen. Look up their track and trace section on the website and use the VIN as the cargo ID. This will give you the boat name. Data will only be available after the car has been loaded onto the ship.

You can then use a ship tracking website such as www.vesselfinder.com to track the progress of the ship. It will only give you data up to the time the ship docks in Australia, not after the car has been offloaded.

Hope you like your new RRS. I have a set of brand new 22 inch 504 alloys for sale in Adelaide if you?re interested? They are take off's from my RRS which arrived in March, in perfect condition and only done delivery mileage (no tyres). Not sure if you?re interested or if it?s too late to change your order but just throwing it out there.

Great that's awesome, thanks Fox. I'll can follow it easier now that I know all that extra info.

The rims it's a bit late to change the order now that rangie is 2 weeks out from build date. If only I knew earlier. Good luck on selling the rims!

So went to my dealer a couple of weeks ago to get a vin number so I track the car via the web address provided. They didn't have a vin number for me so I couldn't really go forward from there. But on another note, they did confirm it will be arriving late this month with a week to prep the car. Delivery/hand over is now in the first week of October which I'm excited about.

The dealer also gave us a another loan car for the weekend to refresh of minds which was nice of them.

    Hi A&B

The dealer was either incompetent or was unwilling to provide info. The JLR ordering system will give them the VIN. It is applied to the vehicle once it goes into a confirmed order on their system.....which is before it is even built!!!

Anyway not long to wait now by the sounds of it. Enjoy.

Getting info. from the main stealer in Perth is hard especially after you've already ordered or had delivery of your new vehicle. I bought a new D4 and when I wanted to know something after delivery my emails kept getting bounced back!
Apparently I was the salesman's best mate until I picked the car up now I'm on the black list of those he doesn't need to be nice to. Same with you, you've paid yer money so go jump.
But you will get a nice hamper of things at handover... at least the top layer looks nice but there's nothing underneath.
You've just got to love those salesman.
    Enjoy the ride though.
