Good point Bails.
TPMS is not standard on OZ spec but full size tyre is as far as I know. I used the UK based configurator when ordering mine last year but had to made a 'panic' call to the dealer once I read the AUS spec list, adding TPMS to my order. m

Thanks 100inch, list isn't to dissimilar to what I would option. Did you choose pixel matrix or was it part of a pack? Std interior or upgrade?

Did you find there was a big difference in the price eg 15-20k or smaller?

Oakey17,
So mine is a SDV6 HSE Dynamic. I was considering an AB with possible SV paint job too but lots of my options are not included on an AB either, hence we ended up with the HSE. The options listed are worth around the 20k plus taxes. There are a few options which I didn't list because they where part of the 'free' corporate package. Like the service pack and floor mats etc. Best is to download the AUS 2018 spec sheet and compare the options. Standard lights are Matrix but I decided to go Pixel LED. Interior is standard (plus extended leather being Dynamic) but I insisted on black headlining and Piano finish. Same for cooled seats.
Car should be ready for pick up tomorrow.................and I am at work interstate till mid May. Great. Not!!! Sure my wife doesn't mind taking it for a spin. m

Forgot to mention. If you prefer to update your seats, particular massage option then I think it makes sense to go AB. IMO. m

Thanks 100inch, sounds like a top purchase... Bugger being interstate, very understanding man to let the wife pick it up haha. Query what is AB? I'll be going to Sydney to have a look and build soon hopefully sort it out.... Guess the engine cost will dictate (plus what the wife thinks is nice) as to what options. I do like the park and drive pack on hse discovery currently have, plus can't go without heated and cooled seats since discovery sport

Don't get me wrong about the SDV8 but as mentioned previously the pricing for a V8 was too much of a temptation (for me!) going for a base FFRR instead. Happy building! m
PS: Delivery delayed to next week. Paperwork needs finishing...saying that I doubt the streets of Melbourne will be flooded with 2018 models this Saturday!

What I liked about the V8 was that you got the dynamic drive system with the V8 , as well as electronic locking diffs, big brakes and other bits that did not add up as extras. When you started to spec a V6 up you got pretty close in price. I was also getting out of a R50 Touareg and I wanted something that was a bit similar in performance.
Although there are small design things that could be better in the RRS I do like the main things for me, off road , spare wheel , good road holding ,great performance and fuel efficiency.

Reading the specifications list, it seems you get the terrain response 2 with dynamic and atpc std on hse sdv8 where as sdv6 you either option up or go the full dynamic. I can see what you mean 100inch how quick options add up and how much 2 cylinders are worth. Has anyone else had a problem getting a brochure? I just prefer to have one in front of me then trying to read on phone or laptop
