The dealer advised 21 December at this stage. They managed to change an order to my order, which made the process a bit quicker.

So mine is a SDV6 HSE Dynamic. I was considering an AB with possible SV paint job too but lots of my options are not included on an AB either, hence we ended up with the HSE. The options listed are worth around the 20k plus taxes. There are a few options which I didn't list because they where part of the 'free' corporate package. Like the service pack and floor mats etc. Best is to download the AUS 2018 spec sheet and compare the options. Standard lights are Matrix but I decided to go Pixel LED. Interior is standard (plus extended leather being Dynamic) but I insisted on black headlining and Piano finish. Same for cooled seats.
Car should be ready for pick up tomorrow.................and I am at work interstate till mid May. Great. Not!!! Sure my wife doesn't mind taking it for a spin. m
    Hi 100inch,
I am new in this forum and unsure if I can ask certain questions. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Your build list looks great! If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your car? How is your car going since May?

I have an RRS SDV8 HSE in White with Ebony ordered about 6 weeks ago due round 24th October. I am not a big one for ordering lots of options and I really wanted the V8. It's a fabulous engine.
    Only options are:
    1. Tow hitch Receiver
    2. Adaptive Cruise and Queue assist. ( Should have ordered Drive Pro Pack, was not much more)
    3. 825w Meridian. Have to have that, standard system is not good.
    4. Pixel LED Headlights.. Not so impressed with long range illumination so might be looking at some sort of driving light.
    5. 5 Year Service Plan

Originally wanted Almond interior as it doesn't show the dust but the boss vetoed it.
2022 Defender D250 S being set up for touring.
'83 RRC 2 door 300tdi on club plates
'82 RRC 2 door almost finished on club plates (will always be nearly finished!)
    2013 Freelander (wife's)
1994 Defender ute hopefully on club plates one day

    Price was $166000
discojools, I would've gone for SDV8 but we had to have the inclusions, which was about $27,000 extra options. Your price was better than a few pricing I have seen, you definitely got a discount! SDV8 sounds much better (I test drove one in Sydney). I was going for the 825W Meridian one but my dealer, who I found very honest, advised me that 380W will be good enough for my need considering we have a lot of options. This 825W option would've added $2250. I didn't take the service plan either as we can add it anytime later until the first servicing, I have been told. What colour and interior did you go for?

Hi Gojaria, welcome to the forum!

If you enjoy your music then I would would really recommend you take this option. the difference between the base system and the 825W upgrade is night and day. If you have a good recording of your favourite piece of music, take it with you to the dealer and listen to both systems loud. I would almost bet that this would see you adding the upgrade to your options list. For me, it is a must as the entertainment system is almost always being used and makes any drive a real pleasure.

PS, you're absolutely right about sales staff not knowing their product. If they only they knew how much more successful they would be if they did.
    Cheers,

    Sean
