    A Defender 4.4 TDV8 would be a wonderful thing.
    I wonder if it complies with the latest emissions regulations.

    It seems they put a V8 petrol in a defender but the logical way to go would have been the SDV8. Putting under powered 2 litre engines into work horses doesn't work for me.

    Because the defender is unsafe above 130kmh, and wipers are useless above 90kmh...🙄😏

    Is the fuel economy reading from the dash accurate?

    From memory i was getting 7.7's from my SDV6, but at the bowser i was getting 750-800ks for 70lts.... so cant be 7.7l per 100km

    **Sorry just realised earlier posts confirmed my observation.

    Can your RRS do 0-100 in 4.4 seconds? Probably only matter of time before there is a RHD version of this.... with ∞ l/100km .

    Just did 5000km BNE - ADL return and averaged 8.2/100 in our L405 SDV8. Bloody impressive!
    L405, Vogue SE, 4.4SDV8, 8 speed, Rear e-diff
