    Real Life Fuel Economy SDV8

    Hi all,
New to this forum although have been on the Disco 4 forum for a while now.

Looking at buying a second hand Range Rover Sport V8 diesel and are interested in what sort of fuel economy everyone is getting.

    Thanks in advance, Craig

Hi Craig. I have a hse sdv8. Goes like a train. On my daily commute I am averaging 7.7l / 100k. On a run 7/100k. Just upgraded from a 4.4 petrol so very happy with that.

That is amazing for a V8 Diesel. The Landcruiser 200 series is way over that.

All the more reason to buy a RRS

    Cheers, Craig

Yep. Was really tough decision, I wanted the velar when it came out but not great off road and I needed something that can tow a 2.5t off road caravan. Was going for the disco 5 but mrs said just get the sport. Bit pricey but I’m saving $50 per week in fuel alone. Best decision I’ve made.

I should know in a couple of weeks. We have a 2.5t off road caravan. I’m guessing approx double what I gat now so 14-15l per 100k

    SDv8 towing fuel economy

    I get 11.5L/100kms towing a camper trailer 2.2T.

Could probably get better of I didn't have lead foot.
