If the headlight was a bi-xenon, the bulbs are available for less than half the price that the dealer charges. I bought 2 x Phillips extreme vision for less than 1 x genuine.

Consumables I purchase from trspares, brake discs filters etc. Well be;ow dealer prices. I run ECB Redstuff front pads and import from OS. Oil I wait for specials at Super Expensive .

Saw a post on Facebook with a TDV8 at 822k on the clock.

Now have 130,000 k's on the clock. Car runs really well. I do intermittent oil changes at 12,000 K's and get my oil tested each time. Fuel economy seems to get better as the car ages.

I also do intermittent oil changes on my L322 3.6 tdv8.

What do the test results indicate about oil health?

In case anyone missed it, every L494/L405 with the SDV8 should have an additional short wiring harness fitted (campaign N375) that stops oil migration from the oil sensor harness connector on the block to the harness that attaches to it.

Funny took mine in for 130 k service today and was told this was to be fitted. I said I think mine already has this update as the current harness was replaced two years ago due to the dreaded oil seep to the turbo ECU.

If it gets done I will assume that they have again changed the harness.

Originally LR was replacing the harness inside the sump which is a big task whereas now just the extra isolating harness is fitted in a few minutes. If your internal harness was replaced then presumably the extra harness wasn't yet available so it still needs to be fitted.
