There haven't been any indications with my AT+ of the aquaplaning that occurred with the quite new ATRs on my D4 which is not surprising considering the ATRs provided no exit channels for water from the centre of the tread whereas the AT+ have wide paths to the edges. The ATW3 have a higher load rating than the AT+ in 275/55R20 size although my AT+ are harsh enough on gravel but the AT+ have relatively thin spots between the raised ribs right at the top of the sidewall below the edge of the tread, which I knew about before giving them a try but then had a new tyre pierced by a sharp piece of metal in that area that was not repairable, fortunately replaced by Pirelli FOC.
