Key fobs. I have two. they both work but are literally falling apart.
should this be a warranty thing?
and regardless I need to buy new ones,,
ebay? dealer?
I have bought a couple of cases from fleabay, they aren't factory but seem to work OK.
I also bought one of these but couldn't program it as a third key without escalating to GAP as apparently my ECU is locked, I lost interest but at that price its not much dearer than empty cases.https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yes make the seller replace the fobs as you weren't made aware of the condition of them when you purchased the vehicle.
You can most likely get them from the UK cheaper (paddocks etc). They will obviously need to be programmed to your car by the dealer (or someone that has an appropriate diagnostic tool like IID). If doing it through a dealer perhaps you could have them bill the the key/programming cost direct to the seller....no harm in asking.
