Good idea, I’ll contact them next week (Hobart Land Rover) to see if there’s any build info and then should be able totrack it from them on.

In my case, it took around 3 weeks (not 100% positive) from build to onboard the ship.

    Bugger!

Well, spoke with the dealer today re our 2022 HSE which was due in early July.
‘The electronics shortage and fire in the chip factory in Japan has impacted our build, discussion is that don’t hold our breath. We may be better off ordering a new model RRS 2022.

Problem is, there’s absolutely no info out there on it, he couldn’t give us any, and nothing concrete that I’ve found on the Web.
‘Does anyone here have any source for the new model w022 that isn’t the electric car?

    Thanks.

    Ken

If you are so inclined, after you get the build confirmation, get the name of the ship on which it will be transported. You can then track progress through one of many ship trackers, eg: MarineTraffic: Global Ship Tracking Intelligence | AIS Marine Traffic

The most frustrating part, for me at least, was the 3 weeks from the car landed on the wharf to when it got to the dealer. If you have the VIN, then you can track the last part of the journey via Prixcar Services | Car Transport Services Australia

    Thanks mate.

As per dealer, I will get an email when car is on ship.
It will have VIN details as well…so will be tracking the ship from the marine traffic.

    Hey Guys,

I received bad news today. Build in October second week and delivery in Jan second week.

Earlier it was July built and October delivery.

Really sad to hear this today.

    That's bad luck for you.

If it's built in October they might be able to get it to you earlier.

Mine was built Oct 22 and I had it Dec 16. If things line up between build date and ship departure etc. You might get lucky.
    Cheers,

    Sean
