556 kays on the odometer as I pulled into Fitzroy Crossing.
I reckon I had another 500mls before the car went to fuel maximisation, then maybe another 500 metres before engine shutoff. The car doesnt let itself run dry.. after that its a fill of more than 4 litres, a special starting procedure, a 15 kay run where the engine ECU does some magic and you are then good to go!
Missed it all by that much!!
Most of that 500kays was done on cruise set at 100kph, the car towed 6T at 100kph in 8th at 1200rpm,, and seemed quite happy about it..

In pommy speak its grand train weight, whatever. All up weight is 6.1T .thats pretty amazing...

That is good going.
Our D4 would have used similar,or slightly more.
But the most i could ever get in the tank was 76L,which was a PITA.
