I suppose if you must buy a white car---

Thats the best scheme out there, it camouflages the sheer size of the thing quite well..

    Very Nice...

It would be awesome if the muppets at LR kept it accurate. Two servicings missing. Fortunately I have the reciepts.

I was under the impression that independant mechanics can get access to the system, but extensive work carried out on my D4 (Belts, Gearbox service, cross flows) by MR Automotive .... and the service carried out by BMW on the RRS has not appeared. Is there a different system, do you know?

    Cheers,

    Kev.

I believe that LR restricted access from non LR repairers some time ago but don't have any knowledge of when. I just printed out what I had from the site for the RRS and stuck it in the folder I maintain with all the reciepts for work spent on the car, the Defender which has has a full service history on the online portal will be serviced by me from here on in I think as well so I'll do the same thing there.

Oh ... I was actually talking about LR not keeping their own system up to date, with the servicings they carried out :-(

I had to put mine in for a DPF issue post rear end accident repair at the Concord dealer who I'd never been to before. The service agent look up the cars history and said that the last service I had was at 70Kkm .... it's now at 186Kkm. It was serviced with the dealer up to the end of warranty and since that, with Pete and Glenn at Roving Mechanical every 12Kkm or so.

It seems that the dealers sometimes forget to register the services on JLRs systems. I don't know how that happens.

PS. the DPF just required a new pressure sensor which was replaced under warranty by the panel beater.
    Cheers,

Interestingly, I always thought the RRS was shorter and smaller than the D4.

The D4 is about 40cm shorter, turning circle is 30cm shorter (love the D4 turning circle). The D4 is over 100cm taller and the same wider than the RRS.
