Make sure you have a misfuelling reset device in case you upset it, not sure if yours has one but worth checking.

I know they can be used for all sorts of reasons, a mobile ice box is one I have seen. One really needed a drink to dive into the ice water to find a Stubbie.:Thump:
EDIT. Just had another close look & now reckon the "Tin Plate" base on mine is far too light compared to that same piece on a Proper Jerrican. I thought I had binned it but found it hanging on a nail in the shed.

Can’t remember dipping it,fuel gauge was one of the few things that didn’t play up,not bad for around 67 years old.
Unlike the fuel pump,generator,starter,etc,etc,etc.
I use a long plastic cable tie,one we use on AC flexes,for the water tank in the Tojo.Works well.
