Not sure about this, it was the recall Land Rover did . I have now looked at two lots of live values and am pretty much convinced it is the sensor, which is Part NO. CZQ7A 15J 29-A FW93-5L200-AA.

Live value readings on two separate attempts: First with Voltage of .337 , second on 4.75 . I will check with pressure guage but the 4.75 would be the cause of the big Red DPF doom showing.

Pressure readings don't makes sense either 36 psi doesn't match .337 volage.

I'll let everyone know when I get to the bottom, at the moment I am trying to find the Pressure swith on line, can find plenty of switches with the FW93-5L200-AA code but none with the first part CZQ7A 15J 29-A .

Will do if I can't locate a pressure sensor. I am really hoping this is the issue as it will be an easy fix , mind you I have spent hours getting to this ,, lesson is look to the simple stuff first.

Most (actually all) DPF pressure sensors I've seen are differential and the tap off points are almost directly in front of and behind the matrix. That makes it "quite challenging" to independently measure. Could be a faulty sensor, but could also be a chaffed wire or dodgy connection in the harness.

It was a recall for all SDV8s so sounds as though the extra harness has been installed.

Well guys I feel like an idiot , I took a photo of the pressure sensor and sent to my Son in law to ask about part numbers, he said did I notice the split in the hose! There it is split in the hose just below pressure sensor , Bugger me why do I always try thr hard stuff first?

If it makes you feel any better, I dropped the transmission from my Volvo because I had an ATF leak, did a complete re-seal which failed to fix the fault, so I dropped it a second time to make sure the torque converter seal was fitted properly (it was). Before I dropped it a third time I noticed a pin-hole where the 2 steel cooler lines had been rubbing together.

It's not just you.

When I attended TAFE as a first year apprentice the teacher gave an example of a mechanic removing a motor that would not start, turned out ne fuel. The point being check the simple things first.
I.think I read that cracked hoses could be an issue, I did check the hoses near the filter, they were fine.

On some vehicles those hoses are replaced as part of the standard 60,000KM service.

I once convinced myself that a leaking rear main oil seal on a 2.25 SII was the cause of the transmission clunk. On a steep driveway I finally accessed the flywheel which, of course, was nice and dry. You guessed it, it was only a worn uni joint. Still can't believe I did that.

Well the RED exhast filter message is still up. Seems even though the pressure sensor is now working the ECU has my DPF at 109% and won't do a regen ! I am stumped how to solve this, thought I could say I have put new DPF in , but this may throgh codes as well. Has anyone got any clues?
