    Evoque options

I've just purchased my first ever new car, which happens to be a beautiful Range Rover Evoque TD4 Pure. So it's goodbye 2nd hand Barina and hello to a world of change (and repayments).

Anyhow, I am having the car factory built with the options I'd like. They include:

    Auto option with ebony leather
    Tech pack
    Clearview pack
    Panoramic roof
    Metallic paint (Santorini black)
    Power tailgate
    Reverse camera
    Front park sensors

I've got probably a few days (maybe a week) to make changes (additions) to it and I'm wondering what other Evoque owners think may be a worthwhile option. Is there anything I've missed which could be important?

Is GPS/DVD pretty good? It's about $3,400, has anyone managed to get that any cheaper as an option added later?

Has anyone got the same spec as me?

Thanks and am really looking forward to being part of the Range Rover community.

    Congratulations mate!

Ordered mine at the end of Feb...

Options are completely personal and depend on what you are planning do do with the car as well as how long you are going to keep it. Personally I will only have mine for 2 1/2 to 3 years on a lease so have minimised options as not confident options will hold their value. You have selected all mine plus a few more. Only suggestion would be upgrading the wheels, have gone 19" Style 5 on mine. Feel wheels set the car off...

When is yours due to arrive? Have heard some long lead times.

Well, I've been told it'll be August 23rd but I really don't think that'll happen, I reckon more September/October seeing as I just ordered it. Can't wait though, looking so forward to climbing inside.

I'm thinking of dropping the tailgate and getting GPS instead.
