At your age, for that car, I don't think an insurance company will touch you.
Your best bet would be to have a parent insure it and name you as a driver.
Hi I'm currently 17 years old (turning 18 December)and will be purchasing a Range Rover Evoque soon and I am wondering if there was any reliable but cheap insurance companies I could join with?
Thanks

Drivers under 25 pay hefty premiums, as being 18 with an expensive car and lack of driving experience will reflect in the policy price that's if any companies will offer you a policy. As said before best to get your parents to insure it and nominate you as an allowed driver. You'll still pay a hefty excess in the event of a prang.
I think Micks suggestion would be the cheapest way. Then there's the argument that if you can afford a car ike that at 18 then you can probably afford the insurance.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
Last time I did quotes Youi was the cheapest, but you will have to answer a lot of questions about your driving habits. Tell them you catch the bus to work and only drive it to church on Sundays.
