All Land Rovers are made to to handle rougher conditions than their competitors and I think the build quality reflects that. One thing is for sure, servicing is cheaper.

Talking generally,as the OP did ask about Evoque.

Mate of mine bought an Audi Q7,TDV8,air suspension,all the goodies,at the same time i bought the D4.

I recon build quality was pretty similar.His now has 3 times the k's my D4 has,the AC fan was replaced out of warranty but no charge.No other issues.

My D4 on the other hand has had a few small frustrating issues.

Had another squiz today (after a 3008GT test drive) and am now looking for an SE in grey with almond interior .
