Hi There,
I am new to the forum and the LR world - I have a question re an issue I have with my recently purchased Evoque 2016 with 76k on it.
There appears to be a lag between me pressing the accelerator and the car picking up speed. Engine revs up before the gear changing and the speed to pickup.
This is more apparent in local driving but can feel in freeway driving as well. It is intermittent.
Taken to the dealer but said they are not able to see the reported issue in their test drives or diagnostics and there are no errors reported.
I am concerned if there are any underlying issues that is not reported in the diagnosis.
Any suggestions would be appreciated as to how I could get through this to make sure there are no serious problems with the car before the statutory warranty expires in a month. RACV seems to offer a pre-purchase diagnostic service. Would that be of any good? Or any other recommended places that offer a comprehensive diagnosis? What is the typical cost?
Thank you for your help
Best regards
RM
It might sound silly but the buttons for the terrain response are easily pressed by mistake. If it happens again just check that you haven't selected grass/gravel/snow or any other program on the terrain response by mistake on the centre console under the gear selector.
