Thread: 19” tyre options?

    Joel,

    Before you commit to a set of all terrain tyres, do you realise they will change the handling characteristics of the car?

    I fitted mine with BFG KO2s, and although they were excellent and sure footed off-road, they were a pig the rest of the time - stiff ride and cornering, reduced my mpg, and had a noisy rumble between 40-70 kmh.

    My wife hated driving the DS with them so I refitted the original wheels and tyres, and keep the BFGs in the shed and only bring them out for the occasional weekend of fun at the beach.

    Just something to think about...
