Simply undo the clips. make sure they are pulled out to their retaining tabs (dangling out).
Grab the back edge and pull forwards.
If its stuck it may have dirt / mud in the tabs - flush with a hose.
Can someone please tell me how I can access the frontrecovery tow point on my 2019 D240SE Velar?
I'm new to this group and only recentlytook delivery of this dealer demo vehicle, so please excuse me if I'masking a question that has been answered elsewhere on this forum.I've read the manual. I've looked online. I've removed the fourplastic screws that hold the front underside plastic cover. I canfeel the front recovery point up behind that plastic panel. Butthough I have pulled very hard on that panel, towards the front ofthe vehicle, I have been unable to get that panel to unclip at it'sfront upper edge. I've pulled until I've bled, I worry I am going tobreak something. What am I missing please?

I wonder if anyone with a MY19 RR Velar has actually removed that front recovery tow point cover. I have watched numerous videos, from the UK, of people removing that cover from other than a MY19 Velar. My Velar is clean, like new, that front cover is retained by four plastic screws, not 90 degree screw tabs. After completely removing those four screws I have pulled that front cover forward with all my available strength, numerous times, but I cannot get it to release from it's front edge, in fact pulling forward on that cover appears to near break the front grill. I wonder if anyone with a MY19 Velar has actually removed that cover, if so I'd like to hear from them please. I have difficulty understanding what RR were thinking when they made access to that front recovery tow point so difficult.
Any reason the nearest RR Service Centre couldnt also be asked?
not that they wouldve removed one either... but they would have access to someone that has.

Thanks Pedro. I did yesterday ask my nearest dealer in Canberra, from where I purchased my Velar. The answer I received suggested one of the technicians there had at some time removed that panel from a Velar, 'with some difficulty', and that I should 'pull harder'. I guess I will just have to try again.
I drove the Velar back to Lennock Motors, the Range Rover Dealer in Canberra. They were intitially unsuccessful in trying to remove that front recovery tow point cover panel. I was told they had to put the vehicle up on a hoist where they reached up above the panel with a tool, presumably a flat screw driver or similar. They levered on the panel clips and forced them to release their grip. Eventually they got that front panel off, placed silicone grease or similar on the panel clips and were then able to replace and remove that panel with ease. When I got the Velar home I was easily able to remove and replace that panel multiple times. Problem solved. Based on that experience I would strongly recommend that owners of similar vehicles, who think they may one day want to access their vehicle's front recovery tow point, make sure that lower panel can be removed with reasonable force, rather than wait until that recovery tow point is needed in a serious bog situation and then find removal of that panel proves near impossible.
