How many new Defender threads are we going to have - vehicle is not out so the overall topic at this stage only covers conjecture on what the vehicle is going to be like - so really one topic.

For sure when it is released there will be a range of topics and issues to discussed like any model that will deserve their own threads.

Interestingly given the rate that BlackRangie puts up posts, and the time it is taking to release the new model - I am sure the main L660 thread will come close to being the biggest in AULRO history and BlackRangie will have the record for the highest number of posts.

"His aim is to preserve the Defender’s hose-out practicality and rugged personality, but to lift build quality and reliability to LandCruiser levels."

I thought those vehicles have all sorts of issues.

    Anyway,back on topic,interesting stuff.

The 1vd is one of the most troublesome motors out there. But people seem to have no issue blowing $30k for a new motor, not once, but twice.

I am posting in all threads in the L660 forum to reaffirm that the actions of some members here is causing others a lot of grief. I have closed 'It won't be Retro' for a couple of days to let everyone calm down - I expect the same thing on this thread - ongoing aggressive behavior by ANYONE will NOT be tolerated.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
