    There is nothing in the article to confirm that is actually a picture of the new Defender - to me that looks like one of the photoshopped mockups that have been doing the rounds! Not even a new one.

    Graft the D4 body onto the D5 chassis and change the door handles to push button......

    The pic is probably not too far wrong in basic characteristics, vertical back & flat roof. I think the window sills will be lower to give that classic open view.

    What the magazine clowns fail to mention is that picture (or bloody similar) was first done in Overlander magazine somewhere round 1985 - 1987, was based on an article to what they think would be a modern Land Rover 110. Its just another bull**** picture.

    I reckon this one is by far closer to being on the money...

    Perhaps a little rude to remind everyone that a Defender is really a Series body bolted on to a slightly beefed up Rangerover chassis? (And then renamed five or six years later!)

    So what is different now?
