Ineos are the crew to watch IMO. They are getting set to build a no-nonsense go-anywhere 4X4 in the spirit of Defender and plan to sell it around the world. Claiming Defender pricing as well (not the post manufacture inflated prices).
The piece that says " Plenty of military interest apparently" is interesting. The military usually buy adaptable vehicles which can fulfill a variety of roles so the core vehicle must be built with various adaptations in mind. Could be light at the end of the tunnel yet....
