Exactly, best to wait for the updated model, like D4 after D3,a very good example.
As is D2a,the best D2 by far.
But thats at least 5 yrs away for the new Deefer.
Then in todays world, throw in hybrids,Ev's,so who knows when these newer vehicles will be sorted, that is bugless.
Looks like in oz they currently do 5 years plus 5 years servicing [emoji15] as special offers from time to time, march is looking like they are doing it for all models bar RRS & RRV.
Usually its 3+ extra 2 avail at cost.
I think they do 5 in some other country's already as standard.

100% Agree, real world people find problems testers never knew could exist, same with every car, imo all the major stuff will be sorted, like modern phones they release after hardware is tested and solid, they then keep updating the software after the real world finds all the minor glitches, I'm happy to be a real world tester, warranty and consumer guarantee covers me beyond warranty period so no loss.
No mate...doesn't surprise me at all [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji16][emoji16]. The 3 pointed star isn't the leader it was in the 80's. Want a reliable sedan go Honda or Mazda etc.
Cheers
JLR already has most of the essentials, such as engines, suspensions and drivetrains, in service in other vehicles, so that should reduce the bugs, you would think.
Can anyone figure out what's going on in this rear wishbone?
Belly looks to be fully bashplated https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...826fede83e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f0223d441a.jpg
Also is it just me or does the departure look identical in the 90 and 110? That's a fairly different move from current defender.
Rear door window on 110 pilot looks way too long.
