If its a hybrid with regenerative braking to charge the battery when slowing then it virtually brakes itself, so the brakes get an easier time anyway.

Once the battery is fully charged the Regen braking stops working,
This is a problem with a Hybrid , the ICE will keep the battery fully charged (unless software prevents it) so the Regen wont work . With 100% EV, Regen always works , unless you live on top of a hill & have a fully charged battery . If the battery is full the power has nowhere to go, so regen stops working.
Normal running about town I get between 6 -11% return via regen.
And no starter motor to worry about, as the electric motor on mild hybrid and hybrid starts it and they are internal.
I hope they do a water cooled alt, is that asking for too much? I believe some newer RRs had that.
That would be a pretty touch package to beat in the water and mud.
Interesting from another LR forum.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...72b4e37d77.jpg
Anyone know if this is possible recovery eye mounts?
If it is, that would make 5 factory available recovery points, not including possible tow hitch central recovery point like on other AU spec later LR's

I’m my experience and opinion tube style (comp bars) are also ornamental
I have a bar so that in the event of animal strike I am completely NOT inconvienienced
Having a Roos head take out a headlight is silly
Taking out the radiator or intercooler in the middle of nowhere likewise silly
Honestly for my requirements it must be a full bar that protects the front and guard?
Each to their own?

Correct, no requirement for alternator. HAZV components are IP67 & up and must be isolated from chassis on both sides of circuit.
Heres the one on my Landy , only a baby at 50A but the old alternator was 35A so no problem .
