    Oh no,not this bloke again.

But he is correct on a lot of points.

Although i will have to agree to disagree about EAS.

Without it,the new Deefer can't be the most capable vehicle LR have ever produced.

Agree, Hes wrong with Air susp imo

If they do, they will release a base coil model no doubt.

Airsusp can be modified easily with extended rods for 2inch lift.

Air susp can also be modified for big lifts on RRV and RRS by dropping the susp subframe from the monocoque nody by desired lift height, not overly hard and avail in 6inch currently, can run 37s on stock air susp Won’t be retro...

Very interesting with D4, are the using a d4 body, or are they trying to make out like it is a d4 body?

Exactly what I’ve been saying for the past two years about the next Defender. If it’s an SUV like all other current Land Rovers it will flop. All current Land Rovers are essentially the same vehicle in different sizes. Unless Defender is a true HD work vehicle it will flop and will only take sales from Discovery etc.

Howver ASPW is wrong about suspension. Land Rover Defender suspension has never needed to be modified (all Japanese brands do) for overlanding. If the new EAS is good it won’t need modifying either. But I agree there need to be coil versions as well.

He bangs on about air suspension. Of course it will have it. That's now LR's platform and a must with IFS IRS. Cheers

But coil on independent suspension...might as well but a Pajero...at least they are well sorted. Cheers

Yes if it is the next Defender ...on coils... poor clearance as he says.

Hummers have 4 coil independent suspension. It could work if it’s HD, but it won’t be. It will be flimsy aluminium wishbones. ARB probably won’t even bother making a lift kit because it will be just another Toorak SUV!

Pajeros are good and have some really great features, but imo i have never been impressed with thier looks or function enough to want to buy one. Just not special enough. You want to look at your car and smile and look forward to driving, not just A to B.

Bowler use Flimsy RRS wishbones I believe for their bulldog.
Winning and placing very well in tough rallys.
How do you know they're flimsy has there been instances of them breaking on record?

I haven't heard anything but good things about LR Air Susp setup since the D3
